I couldn’t figure out what ingredients of this fruit salad to incorporate into the title because they are all so frickin’ delicious and integral to the flavor – so I just incorporated them all! Longest title ever – but very apropos, considering that this is one summer side that is not short on flavor. The cinnamon and sliced almonds make it so much more interesting and (healthfully!) dessert-like than the typical been-there-done-that fruit salad offerings.
-1 cup pitted and chopped peaches
-1 cup pitted and chopped cherries
-1/4 cup blueberries
-1/4 cup sliced almonds
-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Mix well and enjoy! Makes two generous servings. This is a fruit salad that is best consumed shortly after preparing, but leftovers will keep OK a day or two in the fridge.
